YOUR SOUL MATTERS AND YOU NEED A SAVIOUR, YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST 

 

It is very important to know where you'll end up when you leave this earth. There is only one of two places you'll end up, heaven or hell. The choice is yours. It is God's will for everyone to be with him in paradise and that means you. However, not everyone will be with God in paradise/heaven. This page is designed to help you understand what it means to be saved, how to be saved, and what salvation truly is.  If you were to die today and stand before God and he asks you, " Why should I let you into my heaven?" What would you say? If your answer is anything like, " I'm a good person, I don't steal, I never killed anyone and I give to charity, etc " Your “good works” alone are not enough. Though they may be nice, it is not enough to receive eternal life. You cannot earn your way into heaven based on you alone. Why? Because Salvation is a FREE gift. What you consider to be "good enough" to get you into heaven, is not what God requires of you. So, what gets you into heaven you ask?

It's actually quite simple and nothing that God and His Awesomeness cannot help you with. Only God can help get you there and here's how:

1.  Jesus - Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for you. God gave His only Son as ransom for you. He did this because He loves you. That's right. God loves you so much He gave you His Son because Jesus was the perfect sacrifice. Jesus was sinless. So, you need the shed blood of Jesus to cover your sins and restore you back to God Himself. It's time for you let Jesus take control of your life and for you to take the backseat. You need to ask Jesus into your life to be Lord over you life.

2.Repent - When you repent, it means to turn away from the ungodly lifestyle that you have been living and start living a godly righteous lifestyle. A holy lifestyle. You must ask God the Father for forgiveness for all your sins. This is a moment between you and God that requires quiet time and no interupptions. Only you and God know the sins you have committed. Read this scripture (see bible application below): Acts 2:38 3. 

3.Baptism - Every believer should be baptized, full immersion in water. Read this scripture: Acts 2:38 4. 

4.Bible - You will need a King James Bible. There are many versions of the bible, but do not be confused. 

5.Fellowship - You will need to grow in your faith and need to be discipled by fellow believer's/Christians. It is important to be a part of a bible study group and/or a church congregation (either locally or online).   

                                                       

 What is Salvation? 

Salvation is deliverance from sin and its consequences, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.” Salvation is available in Jesus alone Jesus saith unto him,I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.(John 14:6) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.(Acts 4:12) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16) 

Assurance of Salvation Christ’s death ,burial, and resurrection:Jesus died for your sins: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Acknowledge the Following: A Free gift from God For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Your Condition as a Sinner: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Your penalty for sin is death: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Your AssuranceThese things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13)
